On August 15, 2023, Snapchat's ChatGPT-powered My AI chatbot posted a one-second Story showing a two-toned image, a capability reserved for human users that My AI did not have, and then stopped responding to messages or replied with a technical error. Snap said My AI experienced a temporary outage that was resolved and that it was a glitch.
