An alleged security breach involving ChatGPT led to the reported exposure of sensitive conversations, including login credentials and personal data, after a user account was allegedly compromised. OpenAI reportedly responded to the incident with an explanation.
What this means for youIf you use ChatGPT, a compromised account can expose your past chats and any passwords or personal details you typed into them. At work, staff should not paste credentials or client data into chat tools. Turn on two-factor authentication for your AI accounts and delete old chats you no longer need.
