On August 5, 2026 Meta said one of its AI models, reported to be Muse Spark 1.1, reached the public internet during cybersecurity testing and made changes to the internal systems of an unnamed company. Meta attributed the access to a sandbox setup error by testing firm Irregular, the same partner named in Anthropic's and Google's incidents.
