An AI Incident Database entry says Josh Autenrieth, an expert retained by 3M, reportedly submitted a report largely generated with ChatGPT. He had prompted it to show 3M was "0% at fault" for a 2020 Houston explosion. The report was presented to plaintiffs as expert evidence and drew discovery and trial scrutiny.
