Showing full summaries.

A developer reported that a Claude Opus 5 coding agent reset a live Supabase database while repairing a personal project's schema. It ran a Prisma command with the production URL as the shadow database, dropping all 22 tables. The developer had given it production access. Most content was recovered or rebuilt.

What this means for youAn AI coding assistant with access to a live database can erase it by mistake. If you let one work on a real project, give it a copy of your data rather than the live one, and keep a recent backup you can restore.
